Our Work

01

Bus Project

To enable the safe transport of children the School van was donated by the Rotary Club of Emerald and District (D9810) and the local Kangemi community in 2006. Since the first bus the school now has 3 buses.

02

School Desk and Furniture Project

The new school furniture was funded by the Rotary Club of Emerald and District, Rotary District 9810 DDF, the Rotary Foundation - Matching Grant No; 2295 and the Rotary Club of Westlands Nairobi Kenya. 2007. The Rotary Club of Diamond Creek has funded more school furniture as the school continues to grow.

03

Sewing Machine Project

Funding for a number of sewing,  overlocker and embroidery machines was raised and purchased. The school now employs local adults to sew the school uniforms.  The project is so successful the school also produces uniforms for other schools in the area.

04

Computers and Internet Project

The Rotary Club of Diamond Creek saw the kick starting and implementation of the computer project in June, 2013.  Together with a Rotary Foundation District Grant twenty desktop computers were installed into the Computer Lab. The computers introduced the children to computer knowledge

05

New ablutions block and kitchen.

Rotary clubs around the world together with private donations and a Rotary Foundation Global Grant raised funds to build a new ablution block complete with rain water tanks for water supply. The building was completed in 2021.
